Barry David

Barry has been the Senior Pastor at Landmark since May 2009. Before he was called to ministry, Barry was an executive at GM. Barry is a graduate of Upper Iowa University and has a law degree from LaSalle Extension University Law School and a Doctor of Religious Studies from Trinity Theology Seminary. Barry is married to Sandra for 60 years and they have two children: Wendy and Beth and three grandchildren.

Where were you born?

Kingston, PA

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I always wanted to be a business owner, following my dad. I wanted to go to business college and launch a service-based business in my hometown.

What are two things nobody would guess about you?

I am a commercial, instrument, multi-engine rated pilot with 1,200 pilot in command hours. I have restored four classic cars over a few years.

What are three things you cannot live without?

Jesus, a good workout and my wife Sandra.

What is some of your favorite music?

I love all music from the 50’s!

What is one of your guilty pleasures?

I love baseball and watch it on TV all season long.

What is your favorite place to eat in the area?

My favorite place to eat is Country Boy.

What is your favorite Bible verse?

Philippians 2:16 – “Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither labored in vain.”
